• Examine the business process workflows, their effectiveness and whether there are any bottlenecks, the business rules and how they affect workflow control, and the business data entities and how they are utilized within the business process.
• Examine the outside entities (business actors), either individuals, divisions, or other organizations, which interact with the business, and look at the implication of that interaction. In short, we try to understand what is inside and outside the business, and how the inside and outside talk to each other.
